ORTHOPEDIC DEPARTMENT EXPANDS INTO NEW BUILDING

Sutter North Medical Foundation continues to grow to meet the needs of the expanding local community. Sutter North’s Orthopedic Department will move into the second floor of the newly constructed building at 470 Plumas Blvd. in the Yuba City Town Center. The move will also allow Sutter North’s Cardiology and Pediatric Cardiology departments to expand at 440 Plumas Blvd.
The Orthopedic Department move is scheduled for early September. Sutter North Medical Foundation is working with local contractor Hilbers, Inc. and is investing $750,000 in construction costs to prepare the 7,500 square feet of new space for the Orthopedic Department’s patients and staff.
The Orthopedic Department is currently located on the 2nd floor at 440 Plumas Blvd. and shares the upstairs floor with Cardiology and Laboratory. The Cardiology Department will be able to expand into the vacated office space when the Orthopedic Department makes the move to 470 Plumas Blvd.
“The Yuba-Sutter area has experienced a tremendous amount of growth and Sutter North Medical Foundation will continue to respond to the needs of its community,” said Dan Martinez, Sutter North Medical Foundation Board Chairman. “Moving to a location within the Town Center will also allow Sutter North to continue offering the majority of its services in one central location,” continued Martinez.
Sutter North Medical Foundation is affiliated with Sutter Health; one of the nation’s leading not-for-profit networks of community based health care providers, delivering high quality care in more than 100 Northern California communities. Sutter Health supports more than two dozen locally run acute care hospitals and physician organizations, medical research facilities, physician and nurse education programs, and region-wide home health, hospice and occupational health services.
