Diane Smith Named California Employer Advisory Council Chairperson of the Year

Yuba City, CA—Diane Smith, Human Resource Director, Sutter North Medical Foundation was awarded Outstanding Employer Advisory Council Chairperson of the Year. The California Employer Advisory Council (EAC) receives nominations for the award from councils throughout California. Diane Smith is serving as the Yuba Sutter Colusa EAC Chairperson for 2003.
As the Chairperson for our local EAC, Smith has positioned herself as a strong leader in the community. Her goal as the chairperson has been to be responsive to community needs by using her planning and economic development resources and skills to promote economic opportunity, self-sufficiency and revitalization throughout the Yuba, Sutter, and Colusa counties. Her continued commitment is evidenced by the EAC’s partnership with local organizations that encourage business expansion, retention, and solicitation. The Yuba Sutter Colusa EAC provides technical and/or financial assistance to many local employee development agencies to help facilitate their programs.
