The Business & Community Healthcare Partnership is comprised of businesses and individuals with a common goal: to work together to provide education and support for the future of health care in the Yuba-Sutter community. As a not-for-profit organization, BCHP raises funds solely through membership contributions and charitable gifts. The decision of how to distribute the funds raised each year falls on the membership in attendance at the November meeting. The membership reviews each request for funding and makes funding selection through a ballot system. The BCHP membership has distributed a total of $94,100 since 1997.

The Business & Community Healthcare Partnership, sponsored by Sutter North Medical Foundation a not-for-profit organization, committed to improving access to quality health care in our community. The membership is currently comprised of more than 50 who pay annual dues ranging from $175 to $750 to belong. The annual dues are the basis of the yearly funding to community organizations. Sutter North Medical Foundation is the administrative partner for BCHP and provides the funding for the infrastructure and administrative costs. As a result 100% of the membership dues and charitable gifts benefit the community.

Each month the membership of the Business and Community Healthcare Partnership meet to listen to speakers who educate the membership on important health care issues and programs in our community. All meetings are held the 3rd Wednesday of the month at the Bonanza Inn Convention Center, 1001 Clark Avenue, Yuba City at 12 noon.
