Volunteering

Sutter North Medical Foundation has a proud tradition of neighbors helping neighbors and that spirit is still alive today with employees volunteering more than 1500 hours in the community during 2000. Volunteerism at Sutter North is starting a new chapter and for the first time we are asking our community for help.

Volunteers, from the community, will serve a vital role in Sutter North's ability to continue to provide the patient-focused people-centered care that we are known for. Volunteers will work with a dedicated medical staff committed to the mission of providing quality community care with compassion and excellence.

At Sutter North Medical Foundation volunteering is both fun and rewarding! Volunteering offers a way to be useful, help others, and do good deeds.
Health benefits! It is good for the heart, increases you self-esteem as well as lessons stress and depression!
Longer life! Studies show that people who volunteer live longer, healthier and happier lives.
