Independent Excercise Program
Following rehabilitation, man patients desire access to appropriate exercise equipment, to continue their exercise program prescribed by their physical therapist.
here are also individuals who have not been through rehabilitation, but want to pursue a sound fitness program designed by an expert in the field of exercise and movement science, such as a physical therapist.
To meet this need we offer the Independent Exercise Program.

- Equipment structured for beginner, intermediate, and advanced participants.
- We offer periodic reassessment of your exercise program.
This program is not considered formal physical therapy or intended to be a substitute for formal therapy.
Who Qualifies?
- Patients who have completed a formal physical therapy rehabilitation program and do not qualify for further care of their condition.
- Individuals who have not had a need for formal physical therapy and are interested in participating in a general fitness program under the supervision of a physical therapist.
0You must be independent with ambulation and transfers.
- You must be able to get on and off exercise equipment, change weights on machines, or use exercise equipment independently.
Cost
- $40 per month. Unfortunately, the fee cannot be prorated and is not billable to your insurance.

Hours of Operation
7:00 am - 6:00 pm Monday through Friday. We ask that you complete your program by 6:00 pm.
No appointment necessary.
Screening
If you enter the program without having been a patient here at Sutter North Physical Therapy, one of our physical therapists will evaluate your appropriateness for the program.
One of our therapists will consult with you regarding your needs and goals, and subsequently design a customized program for you.
