For almost two exciting years, Sutter North's Home Health Department has rapidly grown as one of the area's leading home health care agencies. Sutter North Home Health was ranked second in a recent Patient Satisfaction Survey among all other Sutter Health agencies.

Our high quality rating can be attributed to many strengths within the agency, all of which lie within the forty staff members who work hard to provide the high quality care and patient satisfaction. Included in our staff are four physical therapists who travel from the borders of Sutter and Yuba counties to as far as LaPorte in the Brownsville area. Our wide range of services also include Speech and Occupational therapists, as well as Medical Social Workers and Home Health Aides who are all available to rehabilitate, arrange community services and provide personal care according to each patient's unique needs.

Our largest service is provided by our team of twenty plus skilled nurses who meet a tremendously wide variety of skilled nursing needs of our area. Included in this team are nursing specialists in enterostomal/wound therapy, chemotherapy, infusion therapy, pediatrics and maternal/child health care. Skilled Nursing services are available twenty four hours a day, and qualified staff are available in the office from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday, to patients, their families and physicians for patient care updates and support information.

As of January 1, 1999 HealthNet Seniority Plus will be leaving Yuba and Sutter counties. SNMF Home Health will then be able to accept those Medicare patients.
