Patient has not been on any anti-hyperglycemic medication for 2 months prior to study entry and patients can only have been on these type of medicines for only 2 months.

Bacterial Conjunctivitis

Ages 1-90 yrs of age. Females must be using a reliable form of birth control.
Patient can NOT be treated with previous antibiotics
Symptomatic for a maximum of 3 days.
No recent eye surgery.
